London is my playground and i’m half awake, in a fake empire.
Joyous.
I was going to write something but fuck it, this seems to sum it all up.
Is there a better album for this time of year? I got in to this album on the ride home from my final journey home from uni, a link that doesn’t really need explaining and a time that is hard to. I was lucky to get work in London soon after and this pretty much soundtracks it from the fake smoke breath of the crisp half life mornings to the half cut night trips home. Let’s not try to figure out everything at once. An unsure but content time.

My street!
Brief
I don’t feel like writing much. It was 7 years ago. My dad picked me up from a post prom party we crammed 7 people in to a 5 seater car all the while trying to hide hangovers. I got home and came in to the breakfast room at the exact time it was announced London would host the games.
I don’t if that John then would be completely ok with what happened in the subsequent years but i think he would be happy with where I am now. I’m critical of so much maybe for a reason but I feel now I can stand back and smile. In many ways cynicism and pessimism is the easy option, I think the City and I are taking a moment to enjoy it all.
When you couldn’t sleep
You would come for me
I’ve lived with it for a few months now and it’s up there.

corytidswell asked: I agree with everything you just wrote/said. A film that I find to be under-appreciated and personally, most probably my favourite film ever made is Paul Thomas Anderson's 'There Will Be Blood' - it is utterly perfect. Apologies if you've already seen it. I also love 'Synechdoche, New York', which, I find, hardly anyone has seen.
Have you seen Prometheus/what did you think of it? Lot’s of idea’s chucked at a wall i think. Some work, don’t know about others.
